There is a Sphinx addin at

https://github.com/mcmtroffaes/sphinxcontrib-bibtex

that seems to do a much better job of formatting BibTeX output than the [https://github.com/matthew-brett/bibstuff bibstuff] library that we have been using. Ironically, it has terrible support for LaTeX output. Looks nice on the web, though.
