VVSG 2.0 1.1.5-D.4 specifies:

The voting system must record write-in information in the CVR that includes: …the total number of write-ins in the CVR

Currently there is no place on the CVR.CVR or CVR.CVRSnapshot to include this information. We will be extending the schema to include this information.

Suggested Change:

Incorporate a total number of write-ins field at the top level of the CVR.CVRSnapshot object. In most cases it would be sufficient to be at the CVR.CVR level but conceivably the number of write-ins could change due to some sort of adjudication. Depends how we define a write-in.
