This issue still seems not to be resolved even with 5.6.17 , I am not able to select anything after doing the right click and before opening the context menu.

This issue still seems not to be resolved even with 5.6.17 , I am not able to select anything after doing the right click and before opening the context menu.

@jeromelaban I can see that the related PR (#19316) was not backported to 5.6.
I imagine @Darsh0307 would need to test this one with latest 5.7-dev right ?

Yes. The issue is only fixed in 5.7 for now.
