Minor Feature Request - Reversible filter for underscore

I'd like to see a compliment to the translation for underscore (or dot etc.) to re-inflate the path.

My use case, I often keep working/scratch directory to keep harness testing code that's not really a full test case (typically languages that do not come complete with testing culture, but also for one off tests).

I'd like to keep this directory flat, but correspond to an alternate. The ability to un-slash and then re-slash would make this easy (yes I know I could just replicate the directory structure in the scratch folder.
