Logitech Gamepad Extreme 3D Pro no longer recognized

What could be the problem? It worked though a while ago, maybe with an older version of STK.

Gamepad is not appearing in STK anymore, no buttons recognized with --gamepad-visualisation. Input.xml without entry for this gamepad after deleting the file.
