There is no package.json file for my static HTML/CSS project.

Hi @dnldpavlik. Thanks for your report!

At this time we'd like to keep the strict condition of having a package.json at the root of the repository or sub-folder that you're trying to import as a StackBlitz project. See #1691 (comment) for an explanation for this rationale.

I am fine with that, but would like the support to just have a static HTML/CSS site project for import.
