What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Assign .py files to be opened by Spyder 2.1.6 in KDE 4.8.2
    1. Click on a .py file to open What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect for the file to be opened and focused. Spyder launches or comes to the front but the file has not been opened at all. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Spyder 2.1.6 provided by Fedora's official repository on Fedora 16
