Console permits the rearranging of tabs just by dragging tabs to a new location - the Editor resists any sort of tab rearranging.
This can be most frustrating when trying to work with two (or more) files simultaneously: the file tabs appear in an apparently random order when opening files and unless you close all other open files, a lot of scrolling between widely separated tabs / files often becomes necessary.
I realise you can split the window, but I still think it would be most helpful if tab rearranging were possible.
I'm merging this issue with issue #564 : please take a look at it, there are some explanations regarding this missing feature (which was intended at first).
