Spyder Version: 2.1.5
Python Version: 2.7.2
Qt Version: 4.7.4, PySide 1.0.9 on Linux

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create New file, add .xml extension 2. 3. Edit filters, add *.xml, open *.xml file What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected to open file in Spyder. Instead FF launches for both New and Open actions.
