"Source / Remove trailing spaces" removes newline at the end of file

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Have some Python code with the required blank newline at the end of file.
   1. Klick "Source / Remove trailing spaces".
   2. Empty newline at the end of the file is gone.
   3. Pep8/flake8 complains about this. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? - Want to keep the newline. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? - v2.0.8 on Ubuntu 10.10.
