What steps will reproduce the problem?

None What is the expected output? What do you see instead? python spyder.py -w path/to/work -r myscript.py What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? WinXP

Please provide any additional information below

. I call IDLE from vim with the '-r' option which can make IDLE run the script edited in my vim.
like this:

autocmd FileType python noremap :w:silent !start C:\Python27\pythonw.exe C:\Python27\Lib\idlelib\idle.pyw -s -r %

below is the example code:
parser.add_option('-r', '--run', dest="run_script", default=None,
help="Run python script")

...
self.run_script = options.run_script
...

if main.run_script:
    main.extconsole.execute_python_code(u"run {0}".format(main.run_script.replace('\\', '/')))
