Feature Request

Given that yaml files are often used as configuration files in python packages (for example, logging: https://docs.python.org/2/howto/logging.html#logging-basic-tutorial ) it would be useful for the Spyder editor to support yaml format files.

What is a yaml file?

For anyone interested in this, you need to search our Mercurial history for "Add syntax highlighting for" to see what's needed to add support for a new file type.
