What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Just as project explorer, object inspector, etc have keyboard shortcuts. It would be great for file explorer to have a keyboard shortcut as well. This way you could easily open new files without having to use the mouse. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Spyder 2.2.5
    Python 2.7.6
    Windows 8.1
