What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. select "show all files" in the context menu of the project browser
    1. double click on a file with julia source code What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The julia file should be opened in the text editor of Spyder.

Instead, the external editor (gedit) opens it. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Spyder 2.2.5 on Ubuntu 12.04, 64 bit

Julia is a new language for scientific computing, similar to Python and
Matlab, but much faster ( http://julialang.org/ ). IPython and pygments
support Julia already.
