The problem is this:

  1. Spyder 2.2.x is only compatible with IPython 0.13
  2. Spyder 2.3dev is only compatible with IPython 1.0

We are working to make Spyder compatible with both versions so that you can use IPython without problems when moving from 2.2 to 2.3 and vice-versa.

Summary: Make Spyder compatible with IPython 0.13 and 1.0 (was: There is No Ipython Console)
Status: Accepted
Labels: Cat-IPythonConsole MS-v2.2.4
