Add option for naming the custom layouts #1335
Comments
From ccordoba12 on 2013-04-11T11:21:05Z Very good point. I'm not sure how we could do this with Qt so I'm tagging it for 2.3. But I'll try to implement it sooner if I can. Summary: Add option for naming the custom layouts (was: add option for naming the custom layouts) |

From goanp...@gmail.com on 2014-08-03T11:08:54Z Hi Carlos Any work on this has been done? It would be nice not only to name the layouts but to be able to create a new layout for a given configuration, so instead of hard coding three layout options in the menu (1,2,3) there should be a submenu (in the menu) or/and a combobox for a toolbar (layout toolbar). |
From goanp...@gmail.com on 2014-08-03T11:10:40Z And leave some default for people migrating from other solutions like... -R-studio default And some standards for aking life easy ;) |
From ccordoba12 on 2014-08-05T07:27:12Z It's on my (infinite) TODO list. If you want to work on it, please go ahead. It shouldn't be that hard to make it work. |

Please allow the user to name the layouts instead of 1, 2, ...
So like
layout 1: editing
layout 2: interactive work
layout 3: debugging
