Spyder Version: 2.1.13.1
Python Version: 2.7.0
Qt Version: 4.8.4, PyQt4 (API v1) 4.9.6 on Windows

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.install 2.1.13.1
2. install 2.1.13 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? When I save a file in another editor the changes are not reflected in spyder 2.1.13.1

I have gone back to 2.1.13

Please provide any additional information below

This changeset (post-v2.1.13.1 indeed) fixes the issue: https://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/source/detail?r=b2b019b3abb361c47bc4d4df9d3ae33571de88be&repo=v21 But AFAIK, this issue is also happening with v2.1.13.
