'pip install spyder' fails

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. pip install spyder What is the expected output? What do you see instead? running install_scripts
   copying build/scripts-2.7/spyder -> /usr/bin
   changing mode of /usr/bin/spyder to 755
   error: install_script 'spyder_win_post_install.py' not found in scripts What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Mageia 2

I'm having the same issue. I am trying to upgrade to 2.1.11 on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit using "pip install spyder --upgrade".

I can reproduce this on Scientific Linux 6. The rest of the log appears to be a completely correct and successful install. Prior install from 3/2012 did work correctly.

'pip install spyder' is now working.
