Youtube video disappears when tab switched #206

Whenever I attempt to open a youtube video, the video renders correctly, but switching to another tab and back causes the video to go black after flashing for a split second. No errors pop up in the console specifically because of this. I'd be glad to contribute any information you'd like.

Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS x64 is the OS
