Could not paste into chat multi line

I have a portion of a markdown documents that I want to edit using chat.

I tried running llm chat, then typed in !multi and pasted the content inside, but it seems all broken (lines are mangled, repeated lines, etc...). I think narrowing down the length of the copied markdown helped, but that means I need to break it down to 5 sentences per paste.
