Implementation of MeshMark #325
Comments
Hi, I'm Anurag Pathak, a full-stack developer and B. Tech. 2nd-year CSE student. I have been working with Kubernetes and Golang for the last 2-3 months and contributing to Brigade and Argo-workflow. While looking for some good projects in LFX Mentorship which interest me, I found Meshmark. I would like to work on it in LFX Mentorship Summer 2022. I was trying to join slack of service-mesh-performance but the link provided in README says that This link is no longer active. |
Hey @AnuragThePathak! Glad that our project intrigues you. Please feel free to join our slack here: https://slack.layer5.io |
@warunicorn19 sadly I'm seeing "This link is no longer active" again. |
Join me on Slack -- it’s a faster, simpler way to work. Sign up here, from any device: https://join.slack.com/t/layer5io/shared_invite/zt-197rzjnxf-R8beRyJ9Tm_BKCCPuaKzjg |
It works thanks 😀. |
Hi, I'm Mayank Mittal, 2nd year student from IIT Roorkee, I am interested in this project for Lfx summer mentorship, please guide me to get started. |
@MayankMittal1 Welcome! We are glad that you are interest in this project. About MeshMark, you can go through https://smp-spec.io/meshmark, and feel free to talk with us on Slack, you can get any helps from community members. |
@ShivamCoder23, we've had some good work here thus far. I'm tagging you for visibility. |
Description:
Create MeshMark provides a universal performance index to gauge your mesh’s efficiency against deployments in other organizations’ environments. MeshMark functions as a service mesh performance index (a scale) to provide people the ability to weigh the value of their service mesh versus the overhead of their service mesh and assess whether they are getting out of the mesh what they are “paying” for in it.
Work with maintainers from Layer5, Intel, Red Hat, and HashiCorp on researching cloud native infrastructure performance. Use machine learning, adaptive algorithms, running and analyzing performance statistics.
Recommended Skills: Golang, ReactJS
