A small list with ideas for what we can use to build out and deliver a new website.

Principles

Should be somewhat future-proof
Low size
Easy to maintain
Adding new content/pages or editing existing should be easy (preferably Markdown)
Low cost (preferrably free)

Collection of tools that might be useful

Open Props - Very small and well thought out design tokens (built with CSS Custom Properties)
Astro - Light-weight, quick, framework agnostic SSR (Static Site Generator)
Google Fonts - If custom fonts will be needed for branding, this CDN should suffice.
Font Awesome - Not sure icons are needed, but if they are this CDN is free.
