i am using go 1.8, it seems a lot of syntax doesnt work in my case. should i downgrade to lower version ? |
Hi @boluquay! First, I would upgrade to use the latest Go, or at least Go 1.10. How long have you used Go? If you're just starting out, I would recommend taking the "Tour of Go," as it's a really good introduction to the language. What is it that you are looking to do, anything in particular? Or just wanting to test out the various functions? I would also take a look at the following tool, which will help with the creation of address and service objects, as well as exporting other information (it uses the go-panos library as the backend): https://github.com/scottdware/panco Here is the most specific download page: https://github.com/scottdware/panco/releases |

I’m so glad that the tool helps you, that is my goal when writing these libraries :) No tip necessary, I’m just glad others are getting value out of it as well! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything. Here’s my email: scottdware@gmail.com Sent with GitHawk |
