Mark folders as excluded

It would be great if selected folders could be excluded.

In my case I have a folder in my vault called Books. In it are a ton of lerge pdfs and this is causing all kinds of issues for Omnisearch (I also have Text Extractor installed and I think it is the sheer volume of content that is causing problems for Omnisearch). I would like to be able to exclude the books folder. And optionally, maybe scan the folder to index the titles and maybe some other high level data (chapters?) but limit its scope somehow to prevent issues.
