Is this still being developed? Eg Python 3.12 compatibility

It seems like curio has stopped updating their packages
Issue: dabeaz/curio#367
Then user klen created a fork with latest github changes which contain fixes for 3.12: https://pypi.org/project/curio-compat
Try uninstalling curio and installing curio-compat. Seems to fix the issue for me.

I also suggest to add compat-curio to the dependencies (and remove old curio)

This issue should be renamed to python3.12 compatibility or smth
