I tried to provide the domain in my sqlConfig to connect with windows authentication but I received this error:
[ERROR] AssertionError [ERR_ASSERTION]: ifError got unwanted exception: Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication.

To solve this issue I went to db-migrate-mssql in node_modules and upgraded the mssql npm package to "mssql": "9.1.1".

It was using "mssql": "6.0.0-beta.1"
