I have the same issue.

A couple of weeks ago, I had problems with the VW connect app on my phone. I had to reset my password and accept EULA agreement to with volkswagen. While I was trying to debug, I removed the integration from HA.

Everything is fine with the App on my phone but not in HA.

Now that I am trying to get the HA integration it working again, I install the integration from HACS but I don't get the dialogue box to enter my new credentials.

I searched to see where my credentials were stored but I did not find them. I tried installing an older version of the integration - no success. I updated to the latest version - no success.

UPDATE:
Configuration > Integrations > search for "Volkswagen Connect" - worked for me today.

Today I tried again adding the Volkswagen device and it worked. I assume it is related to the Volkswagen service and nothing related to Home Assistant and the add-on.

I also have a configuration issue today when trying to add the integration for the first time (on HA 2024.12.5 as well).
The configuration wizard does not show up.

@Gartom I expected the configuration to start automatically, it does not, you need to follow the instructions...

Configuration > Integrations > search for "Volkswagen Connect"

This worked for me.

Thanks @yarglags!
I was looking for the configuration wizard to show up when looking within the HACS integration.
The configuration wizard shows up as expected when I went to "Configuration > Integrations > search for "Volkswagen Connect"" and also selected "Add integration" after the search... :-)

Unfortunately, I get an error when trying to configure the integration. I get the following error in the log:
2025-01-03 22:15:17.216 ERROR (MainThread) [volkswagencarnet.vw_connection] Login failed: Form POST request failed.
I also get a corresponding message in the configuration dialog: "Could not login to Volkswagen Connect, please check your credentials and verify that the service is working"
I use exactly the same credentials that I use to login at https://vwid.vwgroup.io, and I have no issues to login there. I also tried to change the password not to contain any special characters.

@Gartom log into https://vwid.vwgroup.io/, change your region, I changed mine from IE to GB.
Log out and back in again. Accept the EULA for your region.
Change your region back, log out and log back in again.
This got me back up and running.

Thanks @yarglags, somehow I managed to get it working now as well by changing region.
I could not change the region at first at https://vwid.vwgroup.io/ as the region was set, greyed out and not changeable, but the URL had a variable like "AllowRegionChange=false" embedded that I changed to "true" and then I could change region. The fun (?) thing now is that I don't even get the region question again when I login, so I can't change back...

It's great to hear you are making progress,@Gartom . Here's a suggestion to get you back to your original region, try log in using "ingognito" browser. After that, I'm out of ideas. 😄

Good luck!

Thanks again @yarglags!
The region setting was now changeable when logged in is completed, not during login as before. I just logged in with my mobile web browser and found the region setting in the bottom of my profile page.
