Running Pure Data patches on Bela

Pure Data is a data flow language used by thousands of computer musicians. It allows you to design interactive audio applications by sketching out the signal path with a series boxes connected together with patch cables.

A full introduction to Pure Data is beyond the scope of this workshop but you can find great learning resources here.

For a more detailed explanation of how Bela and Pure Data work together see here.

If we return to the IDE we can see a rendering of the Pure Data patch that you are currently running.
