- Bela board
- Breadboard
- Potentiometer (dial)
- Force sensing resistor (pressure sensor)

- Audio cable
- Mini USB cable
Plug the mini USB cable into the Bela board and the other end into your computer. The board does not require any drivers to start working. After around 20 seconds you should see the LEDs on the board start to pulse like a heartbeat. This means that you are ready to start programming the board and running projects.

To open the Bela IDE go to bela.local/. This brings you to our browser-based IDE, the main tool that is used for programming Bela, exploring our example library, viewing signals with the oscilloscope and running projects.

Navigate to the examples tab in the side menu and select the project 00-Workshop > hello-world.
