Issue

When using the R_SCI_UART driver with RA6E1 and FSP v5.8.0, the R_SCI_UART_Open function never returns if the selected SCI channel is 1 or 2 and FIFO Support is enabled.

Workaround

Set Common > FIFO Support to 'Disable' in the R_SCI_UART properties if using channels 1 or 2 with RA6E1 and FSP v5.8.0.
