Extension

https://www.raycast.com/ThatNerd/timers

Raycast Version

1.91.2

macOS Version

15.3

Description

My extension is indeed activated and working properly but the running timers do not appear in my built-in display's menu bar, but only appear in the menu bar of my external monitor.

Using my external monitor as main display or extended display makes no difference: it's the only monitor that will show the timer.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Run a timer.
  2. Notice no time in the menu bar (even with a refresh)
  3. Plug external monitor, notice timer is in that monitor's top menu bar.

Current Behaviour

No timer in built-in display's menu bar.

Expected Behaviour

Timer appears in built-in display's menu bar and any other menu bars of all monitors.

Hi @ArtFlag, thanks for using Timers!

Some questions for debugging:

  • Does this happen for other menu bar commands in this extension (i.e. "Stopwatch Menu Bar") or menu bar commands in other extensions?
  • Just to confirm, you've checked that the menu bar item isn't just not shown on the built-in display because it doesn't fit? e.g. too many other menu bar items, notch, apps that hide menu bar items, etc

Hey hey!

You're right, my menu bar was too full 🫠 It works as expected and the problem was between my chair and my keyboard 🙃

Thanks!
