What's the problem this feature will solve?

It'll help python developers around the world to know better about the package/library they would be going to use.

Describe the solution you'd like

Pypi platform can provide a basic stats of the particular package/library a developer is looking for by showing per-day/weekly/monthly downloads so that it'll be better to compare & use it for their work just like the way npm site does by showing weekly downloads of that specific library when developer comes to know about it.
