matrix-docker-ansible-deploy - Wrong number or backups (daily, weekly..)

Hello, I'm running the "matrix-docker-ansible-deploy" playbook, using postgres-backup in there.

Playbook Configuration:

My vars.yml file looks like this:

What I don't understand is why I have 4 daily backups and 3 weekly, when my configuration says to keep 2 of each.
Monthly doesn't count because I started this HS in May, so there are only 2 entries so far.
Also not sure if 3 is actually correct (2 + current maybe) but 4 is obviously not.

Sorry but this project is not the matrix-docker-ansible-deploy playbook, please refer to them for your questions.
This project don't have the variables you mention as you quote.

Maybe this is what was happening, even if I wouldn't understand why..

For cleaning the script removes the files for each category only if the new backup has been successfull.

@prodrigestivill: your project is used within matrix-docker-ansible-deploy.
The setup is quite strait forward and simply running your container and configureing the environment for it.

matrix_postgres_backup_schedule: '@daily' -> is used for your variable SCHEDULE
matrix_postgres_backup_keep_days: 2 -> is ued for your variable BACKUP_KEEP_DAYS
matrix_postgres_backup_keep_weeks: 2 -> is ued for your variable BACKUP_KEEP_WEEKS
matrix_postgres_backup_keep_months: 2 -> is ued for your variable BACKUP_KEEP_MONTHS

The original author for the question wanted to store only 2 backups per backup folder (daily, weekly, monthly). However more are stored even with setting the variables to 2.

@roughnecks: Please check the the "env" file installed from the matrix-docker-ansible-deploy playbook. It should be located at /postgres-backup/config/env
