Font Rendering Completely Different To Any Other Terminal #421

In the image below, you can see Alacritty, COSMIC Terminal, Kitty and Foot, all set with the same colour scheme, and the same font size (Hack size 14).

(Alacritty and COSMIC Term have the decorations disabled because it's just a look I prefer)

Personally, I don't seem to understand why this happens. Not only is there way too much padding between lines, but the font scaling is way off for some reason. I should note I've seen similar issues but none have addressed the font size discrepancy (as far as I know).

I should also mention that this issue has been there since I first tried COSMIC in May 2024 and I've seen it happen on Fedora and PopOS, so it isn't a distro-related issue. I'm sorry it took me so long to report it.

Thank you for this wonderful desktop that I've been actively using since Alpha 2 and daily driving since Alpha 3!

P.S. The only COSMIC app I want to use but don't yet use is COSMIC Term and this is the reason why.
