Summary

It's a known critical bug that Apple doesn't care fixing.

Steps to reproduce

Reconnect the VPN.

What is the current bug behavior?

The tunnel dies after about 20 seconds. Always.

What is the expected correct behavior?

The tunnel doesn't die.

Possible fixes suggested remediation

Workaround in the link. Call exit(0) after invoking the stop completion handler.
