ownCloud desktop and mobile apps have a limited feature set, but users could open the web UI for all the remaining features.
In ownCloud web, many features are accessible in the sidebar.
Describe the solution you'd like
To bridge the gap, clients could open the web view for a resource, with the specific entry in the sidebar already open. In oC10, extending the private link with …?details=$tabId opened the classic UI in the correct state:
I'd propose to do something similar in the new ownCloud web. This would allow users open the new roles-based Sharing UI in web from the desktop client. Also accessing Versions and Comments would be nice.
This issue is NOT about updating the browser URL bar with every click in the UI. This should be discussed in a different issue and could be implemented later.
