in 4.0.7 i could share files with groups and they could move the files around into different folders in the shared Dir but now in 4.5.2 users can move files but only in their folder setup but not in the folders what are in the shared Dir

I tried it both with the web interface and the sync client and can't reproduce the problem.

Just to be sure:

Did you set the correct permissions for the shared folders (can edit -> create, update, delete, share) ? Otherwise you will not be able to delete files from a shared folder and/or copy it to another folder.

If your shared folders does have the right permissions please check your error logs if there is something noticeable.

i have made this video to show u what i mean as i cant move anything in the share folder to other folders that are in the share folder as in the vid i was trying to move the test.txt file from test1 to test2 but test2 wouldnt show up to move the file their

Thanks for the Video. I never used this 3rd party app. But I just tried it and it works, all Shared folder show up and I can move the files to whatever folder I want. But since this is a 3rd party app I would recommend to contact the author of the app.

On the app webpage they also discuss some problems with invisible folders. Maybe this is useful for you?

As a simple first try I would remove the app completely, also delete apps/files_mv on your server and enable/download it again. Maybe this will provide a newer version which fixes this issue...
