Showing none of my members are connected to my server even though we all are

recently a while ago I deployed a server on heroku as it seemed to be pretty easy however now I'm having issues as even though we are all connected on my server it's still showing the wifi icon with a slah meaning they aren't connected and nobody can hear each other. any recommendations for this on how to fix

My group has been able to work around this by doing CTRL + R after connecting to a lobby in-game.

You only have to do this once.
