@Fmstrat I was going to ask you if your chromium fork changes are needed for the brave build if I use the custom-flag-sync-server branch of your brave-core fork. Your brave-core fork: https://github.com/Fmstrat/brave-core/tree/feature/custom-flag-sync-server |

NO F*CKING WAY Developer Options QA Preferences allows setting command line string without "Enable command line on non-rooted devices" enabled on Android. So now annoying popup every launch/New Tab opened. |

I might give up my attempt at the fork, unless I need it to prove the functionality and PR to brave. I was reading about unofficial builds and the lack of many features that make brave great, like ad-blocking. So for now I'll use the QA Preferences and my self-hosted sync server, shout out to my docker auto-builds: https://github.com/flamy-brave/brave-sync-docker-autobuild |

We want an option (other than a command line flag) to specify a custom sync server to easily use a self-hosted sync server.
The original issue: brave#12314 was shadow-deleted or something so I made this discussion.
