Arduino plugin not appearing

Hi everyone,

I'm a beginner with PyMoDAQ and am currently working on integrating a simple dashboard to control LEDs with my Arduino.

I’ve installed the Arduino plugin and confirmed that it appears in the plugin manager. However, I'm unable to see the actuator appear in either the daq_move or daq_view sections of the PyMoDAQ interface.

Any insights into what might be missing or any troubleshooting steps I should follow would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
In general, to start troubleshooting you should first look at the log. Either navigate to the file by hand, or click this button on any daq move or viewer:

For your case, you should look for the lines in the Log file where PyMoDAQ looks for installed modules. It looks like this:

In this example you see the WARNING telling you why a certain plugin wasn't loaded. Maybe the Arduino plugin will show up there!
