Since a few days ago, I've been looking around and found a few other options. I wonder if it would make more sense to officially deprecate this plugin and archive the repo than to hand it off. I found:

• This SO question about hacking Brunch's own asset processing
• copyfilemon-brunch, which acknowledges this project as an inspiration
• copycat-brunch, which lists both this and copyfilemon-brunch as inspirations!
