This review is done with version 2024.1.0 of the add-on, and NVDA 2024.1rc1 on Windows 11.
This add-on provides an easy way to find out the name and version of the focused application. After testing and looking at the source code, I recommend it.
I feel that handling exceptions like cases where a version is found, but not the application name, perhaps could be improved, since now two separate and consecutive messages maybe reported, though in fact I don't know a situation like that in the real world.
To copy information like product name and version, consecutive keystrokes are needed. This is done in NVDA, but the add-on may include an edit box to show the information, and commands to copy it without consecutive keystrokes, which maybe useful for people with mobility impairments.
Anyway, as mentioned, I strongly recommend this add-on.
