I am trying to pair my Ikea Symfonisk Remote Gen2 with Homey Pro 2023 via the IKEA Trådfri app, but I keep running into the same problem.
Problem description:
The Symfonisk Remote Gen2 appears as a supported device in the Homey Trådfri app.
The pairing seems to work, but after 3 seconds the remote goes offline and remains unreachable.
This happens regardless of the distance to Homey (close or a few meters away).
Other Zigbee devices that are directly paired with Homey work without problems.
What have I tried?
✔️ Reset remote (press reset button for 10-15 sec, LED flashes, then re-paired)
✔️ Homey rebooted and tried again
✔️ Checked Homey’s Zigbee network (no routers, only end devices, but problem remains close to Homey)
✔️ Tested other IKEA Trådfri devices → work correctly in Homey
✔️ Added Symfonisk Remote as generic Zigbee device → same problem
✔️ Checked for firmware updates → no update for the remote
My question:
Is this a known bug with the Symfonisk Remote Gen2 in the Trådfri app?
Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution? I can’t find this problem anywhere.
Is there anything I can test or debug to help solve this problem?
