Design review

Image

Overview

The hint text for checkbox options in the prescription ordering journey uses the incorrect colour. It should use the secondary text colour (#4c6272) but it currently uses the main text colour (#212b32).

Objective

Updating the hint text colour for these checkboxes will align them to other hint text use throughout the app and allow users to better differentiate between hint text and checkbox options.

Activities

  • Update colour of hint text on checkbox options

Design review - Checkboxes vs toggle

Image

Image

Overview

For binary actions, a custom toggle component is used on both the 'Manage notifications' and 'Manage cookies' pages. In other scenarios which involve binary actions, such as the eConsult jump-off page, a checkbox is used.

Objective

By understanding which component users find easier to use, we can then take a consistent approach across all binary actions.

Activities

  • Document all pages and instances of binary actions (and what component is in use)
  • Test with users on preferred or expected behaviours
  • Update designs with agreed approach
