When you go to External Storage and you want to create more than one folder with the same protocol (SMB/CIFS for example), the new blank line awaiting new data below already displays the potocol you used previously. Consequently, you won't be able to use that line.
If you unroll the list and click on the same protocol, nothing happens. You will have to choose another one to be able, with the next blank line, to select the desired protocol. Therefore, to create 10 effective SMB folders, you will have to create 10 unused lines. Fortunately, those lines can be deleted afterward.
Steps to reproduce
Go to External Storage
Create one share with a specific protocol
Try to create a second share with the same protocol
Expected behavior
I expect a reset of the protocol field when a new blank line appears.
Installation method
Community Manual installation with Archive

Operating system

PHP engine version
PHP 8.1
