The notification flow should be configurable by administrators to notifiy a group of users about an event.

Do you have an example use case in mind?

I would have really good usecase.... we use Citrix ShareFile for example and want to change to Nextcloud. But there is one thing keeping us from doing the switch.

Citrix Sharefiles offers a notification option per Folder to multiple events and multiple recipients... we use the feature quite often. Here some examples:

  1. Customer A uploads a file to a specific folder --> Administrator receives an email that a new file has been uploaded.

  2. Administrator provides a new file for customer in a specific folder --> Customer A receives an email that new files has been uploaded

  3. Customer A downloads a file we prepared and uploaded for him --> Administrator receives an email that the files has been downloaded.

Same desire here, use case is providing a folder for client data uploads, admin would like to be able to set a notification that is triggered when the client uploads some files (or uploads new versions of files) that is received by multiple users and/or groups.

Ideally, it wouldn't be necessary for admins to do it, but for ordinary users too, perhaps with restrictions to group owners or something like this. But a good start would be for admins to be able to do this.

p.s. thanks for this useful project
