From a meeting with Keith and Matt

calcite burial currently done based on Omega of bottom layer, does it need bot_flux_to_tend? Or some other bottom 1m mixing? Or just be well mixed?

Potential Diagnostic:
-- some comparison (diff, normalized diff) of bottom layer properties (e.g. omega calcite) relative to bottom 10 cm or 1m. (Define it for every tracer: have terms dependent on bottom O2, NO3, etc. Also for pH?)

So want a python function that can look at the average value of a tracer over the bottom 1m, and then compare that value to the bottom-most layer
