Support for modplug not enabled on Debian/Ubuntu #9719
Comments
Commented by: daschuer I think there is no reason to not activate it. |
Commented by: esbrandt Any reason this is still disabled by default for Windows / macOS? Having build mixxx with modplug=1 for a long time, i can confirm it works reliable on macOS too. |
Commented by: Be-ing Someone would have to add libmodplug to the Windows and macOS build environments. Are you volunteering to do that? |
Commented by: uklotzde No, sorry, I'm not able to support the other platforms. First we need to get the build server up and running again for Linux. It should be a small change, but I don't have any permissions do that. |
Commented by: uklotzde Adding it to macOS + Homebrew should be easy, too. |

Why don't we enable modplug support in our Debian/Ubuntu builds? I would recommend to add it for 2.2.3.
Windows and macOS are a different story, though.
