The Windows installer is currently unsigned. Therefore it is not possible to be asured whether the installer is an untempered version. This is holding me and probably other interested persons back to try out Mixxx.

I just noticed that it's the 2.3.0 beta version installer which is unsigned while the 2.2.4 installer is actually signed (though the 2.2.4 installer just had issues getting downloaded).

I thought this was fixed with #2937 but that was accidentally merged to the master branch instead of 2.3. I just cherry-picked it back to the 2.3 branch, so now AppVeyor builds for 2.3 should be signed:
