This is probably not the right repository for this issue, but I haven't been able to find a better one.

GitHub's Markdown (and probably pretty much any other Markdown flavor) supports the details and summary tags. They are pretty useful, especially when writing long documents:

Marketplace is soon moving to markdown-it parser which is based on commonmark and should support this. We will test this and confirm back.

An upvote from 2019. I also used these tags in my Markdown extension page.

Obviously, it still doesn't work.
